SEO for Developers – Technical SEO

In putting together a brief meeting for my development team this week, I came across some really helpful information from SMX Advanced – Janeandrobot’s Vanessa Fox.Vanessa has listed three really helpful short lists that every team should print and review and every in-house SEO should have when speaking to those who implement your recommendations.
- Discovery Checklist - includes page discovery and accessibility
- Accessibility Checklist - on page assessment, URL structure and external link assesment
- User Conversion Checklist - Turning searchers into customers – brief, but a good start to thinking about landing page optimization, which as far as I’m concerned, should be in every SEOs plan.
- Great presentation as well to download and share - tools and tactics for diagnosing technical search issues - from her Search Developer Summit back in June.
