Tykhon,
From what I can tell and what I have found:
That tool extracts content from youtube server - video titles, video descriptions, comments and put it on your site. Thats the main feature of that product as i can see so far. It has plugins for WordPress, Joomla and Drupal, which is quite impressive i guess.
I pulled that quote from someone who gave it a brief description. If you have videos you want optimized for your site, there are easier and less expensive ways to have this done.
First, I would include that video on my web page and surround it with relevant text and if it was a video I wanted more exposure to, I would certainly include relevant anchor text from the home page linking into my internal video page.
Also, you can optimize the video itself with some good video SEO, quality relevant title, description and any good external linking into that page of course.
I have not tried this tool, and I don't think I would be included to unless after all my primary SEO efforts were first applied.

I totally agree with your theory Jason, it is absolutely moving into a more advanced direction, which is where it should be.

I actually have been contacted by the co-founder of Conductor, Seth, who invited me to test out the Beta version, which I would really like to do over the next couple of months. I have a friend who commented on the granularity of the product, looking forward to giving it a shot.

Thanks!

In my opinon, software and automation for SEO is the next major evolution in SEO - moving from a best practices driven practice to a more data driven process, like most online marketing tactics.

In addition to Covario, you should check out Conductor (www.conductor.com); their product focuses only on Natural SEO (vs covario which does paid, etc), but it goes very deep and is extremely impressive. I saw the beta and it blew us away.
