Tools for SEO, Covario – What do you use?
There are so many tools one could use to help optimize their sites. Beyond the keyword tools, rank checkers, like WebCEO, there are so many others that haven’t really been developed for mass use.
Covario, aka SEMDirector as of this past July, is a relatively new way to help optimize your site, not that it would actually optimize your site per se, but it can help you see those pages that you may have never even known about those that are hidden deep in the recesses of your site, not included in your sitemap, that most likely should be.
I have not found too many people who have used this particular program, therefore the reviews are few and far in between. Within about the next 30-60 days I should have something to report to you about Covario (Organic Search Insight).
I initially saw this as a “tool” rather than something I can include in my quarterly reports to the CEO, which shows how much SEO has helped contribute to the company’s bottom line. Those of you who have a relatively long history in the SEO world soon find out that beyond all the “coolness” of SEO, it is very important to show the company stakeholders exactly how improving your SEO helps the bottom line, otherwise it’s just some geeky hobby.
Once you get beyond all the salesy nonsense, you really understand how helpful this software can actually be, especially if your, like me, alone on the SEO team.
When doing some due dilligence on this software, I soon discovered there really isn’t any competition either. If you might have had any experience with this software or thought about it, please feel free to share your thoughts, as I will be glad to share mine once I have had ample time to review this product.
